Javascript - FSCommand Notes for Mac

  
    Windows MSIE6 handles JavaScript differently than does the Mac MSIE. Mac has the ability, in certain versions, to use getURL("javascript:somefunction()"); and avoid the use of fscommand, which does not work. See article at MOOCG - this article seems to be regularly updated.

I am not entering the Mac vs Windows debate. I am posting market share information for my use with clients and a reminder of where the data comes from.

Market research firm International Data Corp.'s
    2002 Q1 - Apple is 6th with 3.48% of US market or 9th w/2.4% worldwide.
    2001 3.22% of US.

Gartner
   2003 Q3 3.00% of US and <3% worldwide.

Cates-Associates - Visitor Logs from high traffic sites
